It is small -about the size of a pack of cigarettes, and straps onto the earpiece of any phone (landline or cell). This enables a VCO user to use any phone in the world and dial up relay. This website has a different type of loop system - that doesnt really use a loop as such - for listening to TV, stereo etc. While the only person we know of personally who has used it is Denise Portis, it sounds really promising. Have a look!

The KY connection at this site is Fr. Charlie Dittmeier, who is a Catholic priest of the Louisville diocese
and is now a part of Maryknoll, working in Cambodia. His website is fascinating and updated daily with
news and observations on life in Southeast Asia. Before Charlie went there about 10 years ago, he was
the chaplain for the Louisville Catholic Deaf Community and taught Sign classes in Louisville.
